Tovo Pro ("Tovo Pro," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Tovo Pro mobile application and related websites and services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

This Policy is designed to comply with applicable U.S. laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") as amended by the CPRA, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act ("VCDPA"), and similar state laws, as well as the Apple App Store and Google Play store policies.

  • Profile data: profile photo, address, service preferences, payment details (processed by our payment partners).
  • Service requests: details about the home service you're requesting (e.g., roofing, plumbing), photos you upload, messages you send to contractors.
  • Support communications: messages you send to our support team.

Information collected automatically

  • Device data: device model, operating system, unique device identifiers, mobile network information, app version.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, features used, taps, search queries, crash logs, and diagnostic data.
  • Location data: precise or approximate location (only with your permission) to match you with local contractors.
  • Cookies and similar technologies on our websites for analytics and authentication.

Information from third parties

  • Sign-in providers (e.g., Apple, Google) if you choose to sign in with them.
  • Verification partners for contractor background checks and license verification.
  • Analytics and advertising partners.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Match you with contractors and process service requests.
  • Process payments and prevent fraud.
  • Communicate with you about your account, bookings, and support.

  • Contractors and service providers: we share the information necessary to fulfill your request (e.g., name, address, job details).

  • Marketing: opt out via the unsubscribe link in emails or by adjusting in-app notification settings.
  • Delete account: request deletion in-app under Settings › Account › Delete Account, or by emailing privacy@tovopro.com.

Depending on your state of residence (including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and others), you may have rights to:

  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
